What is an air source heat pump?

An air source heat pump (ASHP) is externally mounted and captures heat from air outside and moves it into your home, using electricity to do so.

Survey - we will undertake a detailed survey of your home produce a heating design and specification of equipment to the very latest industry standards. We will price this up and provide a full quotation for your consideration

Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The Government have just increased their heat pump grant from £5,000 to £7,500.

To enable the BUS funding you'll need the following:

You'll need to own your home

Have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) from the past 10 years, we can arrange a new one if required

Your home should not have any loft or cavity wall insulation recommendations on your EPC. If you do need insulation, we can help with that also

You have enough space for a new system, to locate the external unit and hot water cylinder into your home

If your home is going to be undergoing renovation get in contact with us early in the process and we can help you with integration of the system

Depending on your current heating system we will advise you if we are able to utilise any of this with your heat pump, when we come out to survey your home.

A typical cost is around £14,000, less government funding. The actual price will depending on factors, such as the size of your home and the number of radiators we need to install/replace, government grants and installation costs.
