At Communitas Energy CIC, we guide you through all available funding routes, help you apply, and handle as much of the heavy lifting as possible.
Government‑backed Grants
& What You Can Get

Under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), homeowners in England and Wales can receive a £7,500 grant toward the installation of an air source or ground source heat pump.

The same grant may apply to suitable landlords — meaning rental properties can benefit too (subject to eligibility).

Where relevant, additional support may be available for insulation, solar, and other retrofit work — particularly in partnership with local councils, or via fuel‑poverty or social support schemes.

What to Know

The grant is per property — one grant per home.

Grant eligibility requires replacing a fossil‑fuel heating system (gas, oil, electric, LPG) with a low‑carbon alternative.
